By the end of this course you will be able to fine-tune personal and circuit training programs to meet a variety of clients’ conditioning goals with 63 exercises on the Stability Chair. Beyond the general course objectives, you will learn:</p>

<li>Effective use of the equipment to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral extremity conditioning, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination</li>
<li>How to develop dynamic programs in a full studio environment</li>
<li>Effective communication and observational skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation</li>
<li>Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions</li>

Using current exercise guidelines provided by the ACOG and bearing in mind common anatomical and physiological changes, appropriate STOTT PILATES® exercise adaptations will be explored using the Reformer in innovative and beneficial ways. Workout safety and effectiveness remain paramount and the client’s risk factors pre-pregnancy fitness level, health concerns and fitness goals will all be taken in to account when creating new and ongoing programs.</p>

This course teaches you how to combine Mat- and Reformer-based workouts for increased variety and intensity. Upon completion of this course you are able to further motivate group classes and customize personal training sessions for a range of clients. In addition to the general course objectives you learn:</p>

<li>Effective use of resistance to enhance torso stability and peripheral extremity conditioning</li>
