Monica Hoekstra is a studio co-owner and an Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES™. She has a professional dance background in classical ballet, having trained in Toronto, Hawaii, Atlanta and Hungary. She was previously on faculty at Rotaru Ballet School in Atlanta and has many years of experience as a teacher of Pilates and most recently the New York City Ballet Workout.
Catherine Tait is a studio co-owner and an Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES™. She has a physiology degree from Michigan State University and has several years of experience teaching Pilates. She is also certified to teach the New York City Ballet Workout. She works to promote the awareness of movement and fitness via the Pilates method.
Jan Monczynski is a certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor and licensed massage therapist. She has graduated from Southeastern Massage school in 1994 and has also taught massage therapy courses at the school. She offers myofascial, neuromuscular, and cranio-sacral therapy at ABsolute Pilates. She is passionate about fitness and education and is dedicated to teaching pilates to foster wellness in others lives.
Elise Getter is a certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor and the office manager at ABsolute Pilates. After obtaining a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College, she developed an interest in Pilates and decided to combine her desire to help people and love of Pilates into her current career. She received her Pilates training in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota and Charlotte, North Carolina. She loves to develop personal relationships with her clients and help them achieve their fitness goals.
Taylor Young is a fully certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor. With eight years of Pilates experience and a BFA in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University, she is aware of Pilates’s benefits as cross training for many athletic activities. Taylor began her certification in Dallas, Texas and completed the process here at ABsolute Pilates. She enjoys encouraging her clients as they increase their strength, flexibility and body awareness.
Mallory Monczynski has an Associates of the Arts degree. She has always been physically active and interested in living a healthy lifestyle, not just with nutrition and exercise but attitude as well. Becoming a STOTT PILATES™ instructor has given Mallory the opportunity to assist her clients in achieving their personal health and fitness goals. She also very much enjoys the relationships she builds with her clients.
Kathryn Cope is a certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor. She graduated with a B.S. in Communication from Florida State University. After graduation, she worked as a salesperson for the E&J Gallo Winery and Pharmacia Corporation. Following a car accident ten years ago, Pilates became the cornerstone of her successful rehabilitation. After many years as a client, she decided to become a Pilates instructor and received her training in Miami Beach, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina. She enjoys seeing the positive results of Pilates training in her clients, and is very excited to help them attain their health and fitness goals.
Marsha Duff Warnke is a fully certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor. In addition, she holds a Master of Science Education in exercise physiology from the University of Kansas, and is certified as an exercise specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Prior to moving to Charlotte, Marsha worked for over twenty five years as a professional ballet dancer, instructor and choreographer.
Kelly Nalitz is a graduate of UNCC with a BFA in Photography. She's
worked as a photographer for many years and discovered pilates after
the birth of her second child. She enjoyed STOTT
PILATES™ so much she
decided to make it her career. She acquired her STOTT
PILATES™ training here at
Absolute Pilates. She strives to help her clients achieve their fitness
goals and discover the joy of pilates for themselves.
